Not-Yet-Lost Season 1
Today marks the 3rd day of my first week in school. And as all introduction weeks are usually insignificant in terms of their content (or so most engineering students thought), most people would usually zhao school. Well, I happened to have an FYP meeting today, which resulted in me being in school. And since I had to be in school, I might as well attend these insignificant lectures. To my amazement, the following was taught in one of my core modules:
1. Introduction to complex numbers (10 mins)
2. Introduction to complex functions (25 mins)
3. Laplace transformations (25 mins)
If you have no idea what on earth the above means, simply put, an equivalence in terms of the difficulty level would be as follows:
1. Arithmetic (10 mins)
2. Powers, Logarithms (25 mins)
3. Matrix transformations or Calculating the value of pi using an abacus, to 88 decimal places (25 mins)
And with such things happening merely at lesson one, it's no wonder why I'm wondering what I'm doing in such a wonderful (puns intended) course...
Conclusion: A*rospace is disturbing... and I'm still disliking it, with a passion =)
